Baldwin County

Where I Work

Six communities, each with its own buyer, its own pricing logic and its own reasons to be patient. Below is the short version. The longer version is a phone call.

Fairhope

01

Fairhope

A bay bluff downtown, live oaks and the most wanted addresses on the Eastern Shore.

Fairhope sits on a bluff above Mobile Bay with a walkable downtown of independent shops and restaurants, a municipal pier and rose gardens at the water. Buyers pay for the walkability and the trees, and inventory close to downtown moves quickly.

Daphne

02

Daphne

Established neighborhoods, strong schools and the shortest commute across the bay.

Daphne is the practical Eastern Shore choice for families working in Mobile. Older established subdivisions sit next to newer construction, the school zones are a common reason buyers choose one street over another, and the causeway puts downtown Mobile about twenty minutes away.

Spanish Fort & Eastern Shore

03

Spanish Fort & Eastern Shore

Newer construction at the north end of the Eastern Shore.

Spanish Fort has absorbed much of the county’s newer residential growth, with planned subdivisions, retail at the interstate and quick access to both Mobile and the beach. It is where buyers who want a newer home on the Eastern Shore usually end up looking first.

Foley

04

Foley

Growing neighborhoods between the bay and the beach.

Foley is the middle ground: a real town with its own downtown, big retail at the outlets, and subdivisions priced below the beach while still being twenty minutes from the sand. It draws families and buyers who want more house for the money.

Gulf Shores

05

Gulf Shores

Beach homes, condominiums and second homes on the Gulf.

Gulf Shores runs from the beach road back to the canals and golf courses. Primary residences, second homes and rental condominiums all trade here, and the right answer depends entirely on whether the property has to earn income while you are away.

Orange Beach

06

Orange Beach

Gulf front living, marinas and rental investment property.

Orange Beach is the eastern end of the island, with the marinas, the Gulf front high rises and the back bay canal homes. Rental history, association rules and assessments matter as much as the view, and they are the first things worth reading.
